Q: Why should I use DoggyDuty when I can get my neighbors/family/friends to care for my pet(s)?
A: While your neighbors/friends/family may have the best intentions when caring for your pet(s), they have jobs, family and other responsibilities to manage. And that all comes before they can tend to you and your pet’s needs. My time is solely dedicated to your pet’s care. Your pets will keep their regular schedule. I’m skilled at recognizing illnesses and behavioral problems in animals, as well as being trained pet first-aid. Doggy Duty is bonded and insured for your protection.
Q: I work very long hours, and feel guilty leaving my dog cooped up all day. What options would benefit my dog the most?
A: Depending on the size of your dog and amount of exercise needed we offer a variety of options! Mid-day potty breaks for 15 minutes, doggy walks through your neighborhood and doggy daycare for a half or full day. We also provide a pet taxi service to the beach/park/vet/groomer. Pet taxi services are available Monday thru Friday only.
Q: Do you offer discounted rates for your services?
A: We offer lower rates for those needing multiple visits, weekly or monthly service. Military Veterans or senior citizens receive 10% off of all services.
Q: We feel bad leaving our pets at a kennel. But what can we do?
A: If your pets are healthy and not a pup or old timer, then two or three daily visits should work. For puppies and geriatric pets needing more supervision, we offer overnight sitting. Boarding and doggy daycare openings are available on a limited basis. Your pets can stay in a quiet environment with a large fenced yard and gracious shade trees.
Q: My pets are very needy and love a lot of attention! Can you brush, play and give them lots of love, while I’m away?
A: Certainly! I speak to them the entire visit, as if they are a little people. They will get lots of petting, hugs and kisses. When the basic services have been performed, your pets get all the quality time they can handle. I ask each new client to fill out a pet profile form which will help me learn more about your pet’s likes and dislikes.
